John H.M. Bozeman is GeorgiaLink's Managing Partner and has been associated with the firm for over a decade. He recently returned to the firm after serving in Governor Sonny Perdue's administration as Legislative Affairs Director. As Governor Perdue's chief advisor on legislative matters and point of contact with the General Assembly, his responsibilities included working with members of the General Assembly to advance the Governor's Legislative Agenda, building legislative support for the Governor's budget recommendations, developing stronger lines of communications between agency heads and legislators, and advising the Governor on high profile and often politically sensitive legislative proposals. Known as a consensus builder, Bozeman not only successfully rallied support from the majority party for the Governor's initiatives, but also secured bipartisan support for each of the Governor's legislative initiatives, including a constitutional amendment requiring two-thirds approval by the legislature. He began his career in legislative affairs with the Georgia Bankers Association (GBA) where he advocated on behalf of the banking industry regarding issues affecting Georgia's financial marketplace. Mr. Bozeman served on Governor Perdue's Finance Committee for the Southern Governor's Association and has served on the RGA Finance Committee during Governor Perdue's tenure as RGA Chair. Bozeman serves his local community as an appointed member of the Henry County Development Authority and as a former Executive Board Member of the Flint River Council of the Boyscouts of America. John Bozeman is a graduate of Leadership Georgia and was honored as "Georgia's 40 under 40" by Georgia Trend magazine identifying Bozeman as one of Georgia's rising leaders. He and his wife, Stacey, have two children, and live in Locust Grove, Georgia.
